Emory Career Services

Emory offers a number of resources and services for LGS students, including links to job databases, career fairs, and career coaching.

LGS Professional Development and Career Planning Resources

LGS hosts a wide range of events throughout the year that cover topics ranging from career panels with alumni to skill development workshops. LGS Staff are also available for individual consultations. If you are interested in setting up an appointment, students and alumni should complete this form and someone will respond to you as soon as possible about scheduling.

Emory University Career Center

Handshake is Emory’s primary online student-alumni-employer portal for full and part-time jobs, internships, on-campus recruiting and employer information sessions. Check Handshake for new opportunities and networking event updates. Students can login to Handshake using their OPUS ID and password. In most cases, on-campus recruiting is set up for undergraduates, so LGS students must work around the limitations of the online system. However, many employers would be excited to meet interested graduate students while they are on campus.
