Emory Writing Center
The Emory Writing Center offers individual conferences to Emory College and Laney Graduate School students. The Emory Writing Center aims to: foster the development of writers of all levels, abilities, and disciplines; support reflection and research about writing, tutoring, and teaching; model a multiliteracies pedagogy that draws on the strengths of students working across multiple languages, dialects, and modes.
International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS)
ISSS provides a wide variety of resources about life in the US, including information about housing, banking, health insurance, driving, and more.
Along with providing immigration support, ISSS delivers excellent programming for international students. View their calendar for a list of events.
International Student Clubs and Organizations
Student clubs that may be of particular interest to international students include the International Graduate Students and Scholars (IGSS), the African Students Association, the Arab Cultural Association, the Emory Chinese Student Association, the Korean Graduate Student Association, and the Vietnamese Student Association. Additionally, LGS international scholars are members of the Latinx Graduate Student Association (LGSA) and the Emory chapter of the Society for Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics & Native Americans in Science (SACNAS).

Social Gatherings For International Students In Atlanta With AMIS
AMIS is a group that promotes cultural and global understanding between international students and Americans. You can read more about their offerings for international students at amisatlanta.org/students. If interested, you can sign up for their newsletter and for their annual welcome reception, which takes place each September.
