LGS and Emory Fellowships

  • Centennial Scholars Fellowship — The Centennial Scholars Fellowship is given to applicants who have already been accepted to Emory, demonstrated outstanding academic achievement and who will contribute to the development of a richly diverse student body. To be considered for Centennial Scholars Fellowship, applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents who plan to pursue a program of doctoral study. 
  • Initiative to Maximize Student Development Fellowships (IMSD) — Fellowships for stipend and travel funding are available for US citizens and permanent residents who are underrepresented in the sciences. This includes all students with disabilities, and economically disadvantaged students. Graduate IMSD fellowships are awarded upon acceptance and the trainee is eligible for support for the first two years of graduate studies.
  • Women in Natural Sciences (WiNS)— The WiNS Fellowship is given to an incoming, accepted female student who demonstrated outstanding academic achievements and will contribute to the increase in women in selected fields and establish a more gender-diverse academic community. To be considered for the WiNS Fellowship, applicants must identify as a woman and plan to pursue a doctoral degree from Biomedical Engineering, Biostatistics, Chemistry, Computer Science and Informatics, Mathematics, or Physics.
