Click here to view the LGS New Student Guidebook for full list of tasks, key dates, and activites you'll need to complete before arriving on campus this fall. Please read through the Handbook, as it provides essential information to guide your transition. 

  • New student activities will start August 15.
    • Activities will include an all-student orientation and several other activities required of all or some new students.
    • Program orientation activities may include in-person activities, scheduled during the same time period.
  • Classes start on August 28.

Between now and the start of the fall term, there are a number of important for new students to complete. Click on a topic below to learn more and get started

  1. Connect to Emory email and OPUS.
  2. Comply with Emory Immunization Requirements.
  3. Submit your official transcripts.
  4. Review important information for international students. 
    • Language support, visa and tax information, etc.
  5. Complete the Canvas assignments.
  6. Review financial information and requirements
  7. Review health insurance options.
  8. Register for classes.
  9. Upload a photo for your EmoryCard by the deadline date.
