Mellon Humanities PhD Interventions Project

Thank you for your interest in the Mellon Humanities PhD Interventions Project. This grant funding has now ended and this webpage currently exists as a historical archive of previous funding activities through this grant from the Mellon Foundation.

With the generous support of the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, the LGS Mellon Humanities PhD Interventions Project will expand professional competencies and integrate public scholarship into doctoral training as well as graduate teaching and research endeavors.

Under the leadership of a faculty director and advisory committee, LGS will offer several funding opportunities to enable graduate faculty and graduate students to be change-makers in their programs and curriculum. The program will also offer opportunities for graduate faculty and students to learn about and participate in public scholarship initiatives and discussions.

Please direct any questions to Michael Suh (, the Assistant Director of the Mellon Interventions Project.
